Our story
Blue Parrot was born from a single conviction: that Den Haag deserved a coffee bar where time slows down. Nadia and Joost — a barista from Rotterdam and a pastry cook from Ghent — found this corner of Prins Hendrikstraat in 2019 and never looked back.
Every bean is sourced directly from small farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Sumatra. We roast in small batches with our partners in Amsterdam, and every cup is pulled by hand, with intention.
The blue parrot above the door? He belonged to the previous tenant, a retired sailor. We kept the name as a reminder that the best places always carry a little history.
