L.A. American Food was born on Gedempte Gracht out of one simple obsession: the kind of food you crave at midnight — griddled, smoky, unapologetically generous.
Owner Marcus Reyes grew up between Los Angeles and Den Haag, raised on his father's backyard cookouts and his mother's Dutch directness. He opened these doors in 2018 wanting to bring West Coast American warmth to the grey canals of the city.
Every burger is pressed to order. Every rack of ribs slow-cooks through the afternoon. Den Haag deserves that kind of care — and we intend to keep earning it.
