Ramna opened on Molenstraat in the quiet winter of 2009, when Rajan Sharma carried his grandmother's recipe book from Amritsar and set a tandoor alight in Den Haag for the first time.
The name comes from a park in Dhaka — a place of shade and gathering. That spirit lives here: the low lighting, the scent of cardamom, the table that always has room for one more.
Every marinade rests overnight. Every bread is pressed by hand. Nothing arrives from a jar. This is the food Rajan grew up eating, and it is the food he is proud to serve you today.
