Our Story
Ristorante Trattoria opened its doors on Kazernestraat in the heart of Den Haag's Centrum, born from a simple conviction: that Italian cooking is an act of memory as much as hunger.
Marco and Giulia Ferrante left their native Umbria in 2009, carrying little more than a box of family recipes and an enduring belief that the best food is always cooked slowly, with intention. They found their home on this quiet street, steps from the Malieveld, where the neighbourhood welcomed them like family.
Everything on the menu traces a line back to those hills — the egg pasta rolled by hand each morning, the braised meats patient in cast iron, the wine poured without ceremony. Come hungry. Stay long.
