Jiyeon and her brother Minjun grew up between two kitchens — their grandmother's in Busan, and a tiny flat in Transvaal, Den Haag, where kimchi jars lined the windowsill all winter long.
In 2019 they found a narrow space on Wagenstraat 146A, stripped it back to bare brick, and started cooking the way they always had: slowly, loudly, and without compromise.
Everything on the menu earns its place. The chicken marinates overnight. The bibim bowls change with the Haagse Markt. Come hungry, leave satisfied, return soon.
